As part of their Healthy Eating Week Sibsey Free School invited us to take part int their 'Ready, Steady, Cook' evening, where many examples of food from around the world were on display for sampling. Pupils, Parents, Teachers and local organisations took part.

One of our members displayed sugar craft and many children enjoyed making sugar flowers to go on an iced bun.

You would never have guessed that this quiet podium would become the battle ground for an unusual and funny version of 'Ready Steady Cook'.

This delightful young 'lady' was the presenter for the evening. Introducing us to the teams and attempting to prevent foul play (like sneaking in a large spoon of chilli into the opponents dish..! ). The teams too were in full panto mode and the children booed and hissed in all the right places.

Wonder woman stood by and sampled the finished dishes.
It was a brilliant evening and enjoyed by everyone. And in the words of the Headmaster - 'We must do it again'.
