Katherine, Duchess of Cambridge What a wonderful boost it would be for the Women's Institute to have the young Duchess of Cambridge join us in our centenary year. We are not all 'fuddy duddies' as the pressed leads us to believe we have many young women members. The Queen is the President of the Sandringham WI, the Countess of Wessex, the Duchess of Cornwall and Princess Anne are all members, along with the late Queen Mary and Queen Mother. So like everyone else Kate will be warmly welcomed.
