Red, white and blue was the general theme of the evening as members celebrated the Queen's 90th birthday.
There was tea and a wonderful array of homemade cake, scones and jam.
Our speaker for the evening was Alison Walling who gave us an interesting talk on Willow.
Explaining how it is grown and its remarkable uses - from aspirin to fish baskets with over a 1000 varieties, there is no doubt it is a versatile plant.
She brought some of her beautiful willow sculptures and we all had the chance to make our our willow wand.
