Recently some Members spent an enjoyable trip to Kentwell Hall in Suffolk.
Being as we didn't have an August meeting we treated ourselves to a summer lunch at The Old Pottery Tearoom, Wrangle.
A finalist of 'Taste of Excellence' in the Best Tearoom in Lincolnshire category.
Following a lovely salad with chicken & bacon quiche we tucked into this delicious dessert. One member has special dietary needs and was not made to feel left out. It was difficult to tell the difference.
And there is always the shop to browse in afterwards.

This is East Grinstead, 1914 somewhere among these men is my Grandfather.
This was a familiar site all over the country as our menfolk were mobilised for war. Honour all the men that fought for us in the Great War and all those women that had to keep the 'home fires burning', by switching off all your lights bar one on Monday 4th at 10pm
This history is so entwined with the history of our WI.
