This year we are supporting the following local charities:
Their aim is to end hunger and poverty locally. They support a nationwide network of food banks and we will be supporting the Boston Food Bank who provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty.
They also campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK. #foodpoverty
Each month our WI members add essential items to a ‘shopping basket’ kindly donated by a local garden centre and the groceries are handed to the trust regularly to be included in the emergency food parcels.
